The Institute has specialized in facilitating the skill development and attitude modification for improving organizational effectiveness. NISTD imparts training for the officers to make them committed, motivated and encourages overall growth of an officer by inculcating human values and concerns of society and environment through theme- based training programmes.  Our strength is based on the rich experience of our faculty which makes our training programme, research & consultancy work unique, enriching and action-oriented.NISTD strives to use learner-centric and interactive methods like Case Studies, Group Discussions, Brain Storming etc.

          In the modern days governance has to be citizen centric, for which developing the capacity and competence of the officers to serve the society effectively is essential.
